A new Youthdale. A new plan.

Take a first look at our 2022–2026 Strategic Plan

A message from Mamta & Laura

Dear Youthdale Team,

We are delighted to share Youthdale’s refreshed strategic plan with you. A strategic plan captures our vision, mission, objectives and defines what we will focus on to achieve them.

The past few years have been some of the most difficult in our history, reshaping the environment within which Youthdale operates. As the needs of youth continue to increase, our sector – including Youthdale – are evolving rapidly to provide relevant support. These forces have guided our thinking during this strategic plan refresh to double down on Youthdale’s critical role in supporting young people and their chosen families.

This refreshed strategic plan charts an inspiring course for the next steps of Youthdale’s journey. We encourage you to review it below.

The Strategic Planning Committee is grateful for the input you shared last Fall. Your honest survey feedback, along with that from our youth, families, and partners in the sector grounded the approach to this plan. While this work is ambitious, we know it is realistic. In coming months, you’ll hear from the Senior Leadership Team about how we will work together to operationalize the plan.  Central to this is navigating change to reshape our culture and how we deliver services together to provide the greatest impact for children, youth, and families.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our Senior Leadership Team, thank you for your dedication and engagement as we work together to achieve our vision of Healthy young people, thriving futures.

Sincerely,

Mamta Chail

Our vision

Healthy young people,
thriving futures.

Every day we support children and youth with significant mental health difficulties achieve overall health and well-being. We engage the whole person – mentally, physically, and emotionally. We imagine a day when: young people are confident and flourishing, caregivers and chosen families are transformed, and communities benefit from the positive impact.

Our mission

For young people with severe mental health difficulties and their community: Support the journey to wellness with professional therapeutic services and collaborative support.

We recognize that each child and youth we serve is unique.
